Our Practice has a Patient Participation Group (PPG) whose purpose if to liaise with the Doctors and the Management to represent the views of patients regarding the services provided and how we are to develop in the future. The PPG meets once a month. In the past the PPG has undertaken surveys of patients’ opinion of, for example, our appointments system. We have discussed the results of these surveys.
In addition, the PPG has raised money to help buy equipment for the Practice, for example a spirometer used to measure the function of the lungs in patients with chest disease.
We are very keen to see the PPG grow in size and to ensure it represents all ages and backgrounds of our patients. If you are interested in joining the PPG either as a full or virtual member you can discuss this further with either Maureen Reaney or Gemma Baines or why not complete one of the application forms below and leave it at the Reception of your usual surgery building.
Virtual membership means you can still join in and give your opinions to the PPG but you would not have to attend meetings. A member of the PPG may contact you from time to time to discuss issues being considered by the group.
